Buoyant floats through multicolored clouds. The denizens all have the power of flight. They float or take wing. The trees plant slender roots in the clouds. Vines grow from the clouds and spiral into the sky.
Visitors enjoy their time in the clouds. They eat sweet fluff as they come and go.
In Elation, the cloud farmland, cloud sugar grows. It’s spun into cloth and fed into engines where it turns to pink electricity, and, from there, into fluff foodstuffs.
Denizens make fluff into bread and candy. They send it to other lands for their fairs and celebrations.
However, the imported fluff does not taste near as sweet and light as it does in Buoyant.
“I can’t say why,” says Miss Emeline. "Outside of Buoyant, the fluff has an artificial flavor, recognizable as Buoyant Fluff only if one has never tasted the real stuff.”
Friendtopians love to visit Buoyant, work in the fields of Elation, and float amongst the clouds.
