Relieved blooms during the molting time of Defensive when the thorns fall. Relieved rises from the ground and unfurls soft and petaled. The thorny beings soften as thorns wither, droop, and drop. All make their way to the soft ground of Relieved which appears in a new location each molt. They travel drawn by its alluring scent which grows stronger and stronger as the Defensive thorns rot.
The Relieved come to keep council, share wisdom, and dance. Visitors arrive, but must be invited. They come by air gently landing on a welcoming petal pad. The city bears fruit that feeds the rest of Defensive until Relieved emerges again. New laws and edicts may only be passed during molting season. The Defensive find contentment during their pilgrimage to Relieved.
