In 2012, my word of the year was homemade — a focus on home and making rather than buying. This concept waxed and waned throughout the year, but ended nicely with a great homemade meal and homemade vegan dog treats.
My word of the year for 2013 will be savor: to taste or smell, especially with pleasure and to appreciate fully; enjoy or relish.
I'm going to focus on appreciating what I have, what I am doing, and who I am with and also, specifically, taking more time over my food and drink.
